There may be times when your situation requires more in depth coaching in an area beyond my scope of expertise. I will consult with an expert in the particular discipline in question, when this is the case.

For example, I am well equipped to help parents prepare for a PPT*, including what questions to ask and what services to request. However, there may be times when I would want to consult with an expert in special  education for further suggestons. I would explain my reasoning to you and you would appove or disapprove the consulttion No consults regarding your child will take place without your consent. There will be an additional fee for this service. There also may be times when it is most appropriate to contract a separate session between yourself and an Educational Consultant. This can be arranged on an as needed basis.

You may choose to opt for private educational testing for your child. If this is the case Miriam Cherkis-Julkowski, Ph.D., is available in Connecticut, New York, New Jersey and Arizona. See below for more details.
